What I thought about shadows

In the first term we learned about shadows. This is what I thought about shadows first.

This is my second turn.

I'm really happy. The shadow is connected to your feet. Also the sun will be shining on you and you will be in the way for the sun to go on the ground. So that makes a shadow. Here is some art that I have done about shadows.

Chapter chat

Every Friday morning we do something called chapter chat. It's when different classes all over New Zealand join to do tasks and answer questions. This is one task we had to do a wanted poster or 10 things about your mum. I will give it a 10/10.

3D shapes

In our class we've been doing 3d shapes. My shape is in a gun shape. I'm really happy with this task

Sport start

This term our class has been using sports start. We are getting better at these skills

Our class have been playing diamond ball. It's kind of like baseball/softball. We've got to people to help us to get better. My favourite thing was force pack.

Assembly

Last Friday it was assembly. My spine was chilling and I had butterfly's in my stomach. The outfits were crazy cool. We all had white coats and a brain crown. I got to read about cancer the crab. First we had to stand up for the national anthem. Aaoteroa......... After that the hosts tolled there names and our class names. Some time it was Joseph and Libby's turn. They talked about Scorpio and Eva talked about Leo the lion. Finally it was my turn. I felt proud of myself speaking in front of the whole school and some parents. After the assembly we put on the duck song. When the duck walked up to the lemonade stand and he said to the man right at the stand........ The end

Charlottes web cake by Max

Yesterday Max brought this mouth watering cake into class. You know why it's got a spider on it? Because we've been reading charlottes web. While we were reading charlottes web some people came out and gave the cake to the class. I loved the cake melting in my mouth. The icing was perfect. It was a really good cake.

First we started on the walls. We made it out of bricks. It took about 3 days to finish it. Next we started on the roof. It was the hardest part. We had to keep placing the brick down then we had to place down the wooden stairs. Then the decorating. Up stairs there's plants. Down stairs there's animals. At the back of the barn there's animals. Chickens, pigs, cows, ocelots and dogs. Hope you like it.
